project overview
Project partners: :Jiayao Zhang, Chun Li
Brief: “Design a conversation between a human and a machine.”
project details & aim:
After launching the brief, we started brainstorming. Around the topic of conversation, each of us first wrote out and extended a few directions of interest, and after a group discussion, we decided to develop in the direction of artificial intelligence learning and social media.
my role & learning outcomes:
During the research phase, I played a leading role, especially in terms of synthesizing data and identifying insights with potential design opportunities. I contributed a lot of ideas during the ideation and prototyping stages, during which we explored different ways to track packages. In week 2 the development stages, I worked on the wireframe, as well as the storyboard and script for the concept video.
compared to our overall UX approach that looks at the big picture, choosing a micro problem to solve a goal is much more difficult than I thought. When prototyping our various prototypes, it requires a different conceptual approach and a faster test-test learning cycle. I have learned valuable lessons during the design process because our team is constantly in trouble as we have to change or develop ideas.

research activities & outcomes
Brainstorming:
Made sense of that the discussion between a human and a machine must be one course, which we input request, and the machine does the yield for us. It appears the "discussion" isn't going on.
Preliminary inspiration:
At that point, we were propelled by the narrative film "The Great Hack."
Because of the huge improvement of computerized reasoning, and the innovations, the machine had become a solid and incredible asset in individuals' everyday life. We began to become accustomed to them. In any case, the additional time we spend on the machine, the more protection we had detonated. Individuals who made those calculations and advances use information as a weapon attempting to control society.
In view of the substance of the narrative, we begin to consider whether we can structure something to battle against control by the machines.
At the point when individuals are putting hashtags on their Instagram posts, whey will naturally get customized with those hashtags. Each time they put words on the pursuit interface, the calculations would make the catchphrases into their documents. That is the reason we continue viewing a similar class and comparable substance constantly.

prototyping
We recreated several related stories around the theme of robot slaver. Hope to find some places worth redesigning.
Feedback and Reflection:
Q: Will users be addicted to this app and reduce the possibility of obtaining diverse information? Maybe it will cause users only to have a sense of certain types of information?
A: We only focus on whether we can increase the possibility of communication, but we ignore some impacts on the wider society. We have never thought of some deeper reasons, and designers need to consider the excessive reliance on data and algorithms in modern design.
