Through observations of people interact with dogs and interviews with dog owners, we decided to create a range of toys that people and dogs could play with together to create quality time together and thus build a more harmonious relationship between people and dogs. To do this, we did a lot of research to explore the opportunities and issues in the human-dog toy sector.
For this design, our studies and findings centred on the canine senses in dog-human encounters. We obtained a cursory knowledge of the five canine senses while reading the literature, and we then ordered a selection of existing canine toys to check out. We built a series of spherical toys with the data gained from these exercises that activate the multiple senses of the canine. The value of each proximal sphere is that it is uniquely explored, but often used in variations. In this exercise, participants were asked to take part, to examine how they used these toys with the dogs and to perform interviews at the conclusion of the play.
Competitive product analysis: (We analyzed the most popular dog toy on Amazon)

Through purchase reviews and interviews with dog owners, it is known that most popular pet toys cannot achieve the goal of playing together with pets.
first prototype test:

For the first prototype experiment, we made a number of toys that looked similar but had different elements inside (different smell, sound, light, different chewing textures) and we wanted to find out what elements were most appealing to the dogs.
second prototype test:

After completing the first experiment, we learned that toys that smell (e.g. bones) and can be moved around are most popular with dogs. Based on this we carried out a second test.
third prototype test:

Finally we have designed three sizes of toys taking into account the owner's physical abilities and the dog's preferred elements, thus helping them to build quality time together.
